When growing-up my creative outlet lay in more traditional art forms, with my inspiration and drive largely coming from my very artistic family.
As a child my parents bought us numerous compact, film and 35mm camera’s. My holiday snaps often demonstrated a strong sense of composition, but the hobby never fully grabbed me.
My interest in photography was sparked when my Dad bought me my first DSLR (digital single-lens reflex) camera in 2006, a Canon 350D, I was hooked! In the next few years I went on to upgrade to pro equipment and lenses.
In 2008 I was given the opportunity to shoot a few weddings for friends and family. My intraverted personality was reflected in my photography, discreet and unobtrusive. My style seemed to fit nicely in the current wedding ‘buzz’ – reportage.
By my second year I shot nearly 20 of my own weddings, winning business with my honest and artistic approach.

Photography is a dream, my passion and inner creativity. Thanks to my parents I have been surrounded by photography in my upbringing.
Both my Brother and my Dad have helped me to get to a level of photography I wouldn’t have achieved without them. They are both fantastic photographers, and would recommend their work to anyone. I also hope to be a successful photographer in the future.
