Here’s a sneak peek from a newborn portrait shoot I shot at the weekend.

The bay window was a fantastic source of natural light, which I tried to utilize as much as I could throughout the shoot, minimising the use of artificial light. I did this because firstly, I love natural light. Secondly, it doesn’t unnerve newborns.

The chair was such a great focal point to use. In the photograph above, I shot into the light and overexposed the exposure. I hope you like the result.
