A week before Christmas I photographed Ali and Jeremy’s winter wedding at Lainston House, in Winchester. I used the low golden light to my advantage, the photograph above is one of the highlights from their bride and groom series.

{New Place :: pre-wedding shoot}

On the 2nd December I photographed Karen and Alan’s pre-wedding shoot at New Place in Shirrell Heath, Southampton. It’s a beautiful manor house set in 32 acres of parkland. They’re getting married there next year (2012). Above is one of my favourite shots from the photo shoot.

This is a one shot preview from Doris and Steve’s pre-wedding shoot. This was shot in the later half of October (we had such a lovely Autumn this year) at one of my favourite locations – Netley Abbey in Southampton. Doris and Steve are getting married next year in China.

Next year I’ll be going abroad again for a few international wedding photography shoots, exciting!

If you’re a frequent visitor to our blog, you may have noticed it’s been a while since we’ve uploaded some sneaky peeks from our weddings and engagement shoots. The tail end of 2011 has been a very busy one! We opened our new studio in September, and the phones haven’t stopped ringing since…

Before the year is out I’ll share a few of the weddings and engagement shoots you’ll have missed.

On September 1st we photographed Richard and Siobhan’s Alice in Wonderland themed wedding at Shaw House in Newbury. Above is a little sneak peek from what was a fun packed wedding from start to finish.

{Andrew and Nicky :: Manoir de Longeveau in France}

Two weeks ago I was on-my-way to London Gatwick to catch a flight to Bordeaux, France. It would be my first international wedding shoot. The wedding was in the south west of France near the rural village of Pillac. I arrived late at night, so awoke early the next morning to take a look around the manor house and court yards. The buildings and surrounding countryside were breathtaking! Below are a few reference shots I took that morning.

This was the ground floor of my gîte, I woke in the morning to find croissants and a loaf of bread on the table.

And here are the shots you’ve been waiting for… the wedding photography. I started at midday by capturing the brides preparation.

These are just a few highlights from what was an incredible day. I’d love to show you all more, but you’ll have to wait. I’d like to say a massive thank you to the bride and groom Andrew and Nicky for an amazing opportunity and of course a huge congratulations!

My next international wedding photography shoot will be in Halong Bay, Vietnam next summer.
