Here’s a very quick sneak peek from last weekends wedding at New Place manor in Wickham, Hampshire. Jasmine and Olivier wanted a very natural and unobtrusive approach throughout the day, I was given just three shots for the traditional family line-up’s. Perfect! Sunny weather + picturesque venue + laid back couple + (me of course) = a great wedding!
This is a little project we’ve been working on at Ben Goode Photography – iPad wedding albums. If you’re looking for a wedding album with a difference, this has got to be it! Interested? We’re looking to launch the product by the end of the year. Check back soon for updates.
I have a new camera! The Canon 1Ds MKIII. As my Dad recently hung up his photographer hat, I bought his awesome 1Ds MKIII. I can’t wait to use it on my first shoot. This now means that my younger Brother Josh will be using the Canon 5D when he assists me on various shoots. It’s a big step in moving away from being an assistant/junior photographer and becoming my second shooter at Ben Goode Photography. Just want to say a massive thanks to my Dad, firstly for selling me the camera, and secondly for second shooting with me at weddings over the past few years. It’s been great! Who knows, we may get the opportunity to shoot together again next year.
Here are a few more shots from the ‘very pink’ wedding of Gemma and Lyndon last month, at Parley Manor in Dorset. I’ve highlighted a mixture of their details from the day, alongside some of my favourite moments. Enjoy! Comments are always welcome…
Last Saturday – 4 September I had the privilege of shooting a wedding at the impressive Minley Manor, situated between Farnborough and Yateley in Hampshire. Simon and Ellie are a great young couple, they were comfortable in-front of the camera, and really knew how to party. The shot above is one of my favourites from the day. I very loosely posed them in the location, but then just let them relax, and as soon as they did I was able to capture the shot. The image also shows off the beauty of the manor, which interestingly was in the 1969 film Mosquito Squadron, and more recently in the 2007 film Stardust.
