On Friday evening we travelled up to Hitchin, to our overnight accommodation ahead of Tom and Rebecca’s wedding the following day. And what a wedding it was!
From the incredible home-made wedding dress, the Jimmy Choo’s, Hitchin’s St. Mary’s church to the rustic country tithe barn, it will certainly be a wedding to remember. Tom and Rebecca were a fantastic bride and groom!
Above is a sneak peek from the wedding, I honestly can’t wait to show you the rest.…
Here’s a sneak peek from last weekends wedding at my favourite venue – the Larmer Tree Gardens set in the Cranborne Chase.
It was a fantastic day! I had Greg Thurtle as my second photographer, which was nice as we worked together at the Garden’s almost a year ago.
I’d like to say a big congratulations to both Cara and Pete, who are currently enjoying their honeymoon. I’m really looking forward to showing them their photos when they return. I hope you enjoy the sneak peek above.…
Things have been a little quite on the Ben Goode Photography blog over the past two weeks; we’ve been anything but…
Two weeks ago I went to Avington Park in Winchester with bride and groom to be, Sarah and Adam. They’re getting married there in July. We scouted out the best spots for photos, and experimented with a few ideas for the day.
A pre wedding shoot is a great way to get to know your photographer before the day.
Above is one of my favourites from the shoot.…
We are now approved wedding photography vendors on the RockNRoll Bride blog, and Rock My Wedding’s ‘Love Lust List’. …
I received a testimonial today from one of my customers, who purchased the photoshoot offer I recently ran with Groupon Southampton. Read the testimonial below:
“Dear Ben,
I just wanted to say thank you so much for our recent photo shoot with you. We had such a fun time and our 7 year old really enjoyed it. I think this is evident from the wonderful photographs you have produced for us. We loved using Hiltingbury Lakes for our location as it holds special memories for us as well as being such a versitile area for the photos. We have never had photos taken outside of a studio before but now, seeing the results, we will only ever have ours taken outdoors!
Thank you again for a fun afternoon and wonderful photos which we will treasure.
Kind regards,
Jane Pearce”…
Today’s sneak peek is taken from Asher and Jonathan’s pre-wedding shoot. They’re getting married next month at one of my favourite wedding venues – the Larmer Tree Gardens. We started the morning with a recce, and followed with the shoot.
We split the shoot with some at the Gardens, and then some out in the countryside around Cranborne Chase. My sneak peek is from the second half of the shoot in the country. I’m really looking forward to the wedding! …
Yesterday I photographed the wedding of James and Christine at Lainstone House in Winchester.
Their ceremony was at 9:30 in the morning! They had asked for the morning bridal preparation to be captured, which meant a very early start. I left the house in the dark, torrential rain and thunderstorm. Amazingly by the end of the ceremony the storm had passed, the clouds parted and we got some sunshine.
It was wonderful to be apart of such an intimate wedding, which by 1:30pm was over. I think it’s one of the only weddings I’ve photographed that I’ve got caught up in the emotion, and found a few tears in my eyes during the speeches. I’d like to wish James and Christine all the best for their future.
Above is a quick sneak peek from the day (perhaps an odd location to highlight seeing as I was at the beautiful Lainstone House, but nevertheless I like this one).
As always, your comments are greatly appreciated. …
