Naomi and Mike married on a very stormy day in the foot of the South Downs. The storm meant they and their guests spent the day inside. I really wanted to give them a special photograph to make up for the bad weather. I had a picture in mind – but I needed it to rain even more! I’m sure some of the guests thought I was mad.
As the night drew in and the rain came down heavier the conditions were just right. I setup a flash light behind and lit them in-front with a camera mounted static light. With bride and groom stood close together under an umbrella the result was spectacular!
I’m thrilled with the result and would go as far as saying I think it’s one of my all time favourite wedding images I’ve ever taken.
