In late October we shot Sara and Ben’s wedding at the Larmer Tree Gardens. This is the latest in the year we’ve worked at the Gardens. A mist descended and set in creating a fairy tail look. This shot is a bit different from our blog sneaky peeks. It was taken from the back of the singing theatre looking onto the stage and green beyond. Huge congratulations to them both, and we wish them all the best on the arrival of their first child.
Back in late October we were at The Potters Heron in Ampfield, Hampshire. We had the rare opportunity to shoot a wedding for our friends Shaun and Charlotte.
Mid October we shot one of our most unique weddings of the year. The day kicked off with the ceremony at Orleans House – a stunning venue. We had to take the opportunity to photograph the bride and groom here. Everyone was then treated to a two hour boat journey along the Thames – from Twickenham to Putney. It was a fantastic day! They were such a great couple to work with. Congratulations to Nick and Victoria.
Back in mid September we shot Sarah and Richard’s wedding at the Larmer Tree Gardens. It was the penultimate Larmer Tree Wedding of the year! It was another brilliant day for us, you really can’t expect anything less from the venue. This image was taken on the singing theatre. The backdrop makes for a great shot. Big congratulations to Sarah and Richard!
Hey blog followers, it’s Josh! Today I had the oppurtinity of making today’s blog post. I had the task of selecting a sneak peek image from Gary and Amy’s mid September wedding. It was another fantastic day for us at the Lamer Tree Gardens – which is located on the Bournemouth Salisbury Border. Whilst I captured the guests on the green enjoying their drinks and canapés, Ben took Gary and Amy to a new spot we haven’t used before, the shots came out beautifully. Big congratulations to Gary and Amy!
Looking back to the beginning of September now. David and Lesley had their wedding reception at the Fitzleroi Barn in Pulborough, West Sussex. They’d decorated the barn courtyard with half a dozen giant balloons. I couldn’t resist using them in a photo. The image I’ve selected also takes advantage of the beautiful rural setting.
This post comes from the very end of August. Steve and Kirsty had the most wonderful wedding blessing and reception in the woods. It was absolutely magical! It’s probably the most unique wedding Josh and I have ever photographed. In the next month or two (before the year is out) I’m going to be showcasing this years highlights. Be sure to look out for many more from this one.
At the end of August Anna and Paul wedded at the Upwaltham Barns in the South Downs National Park. During the drinks reception I took the couple away for a few minutes. We walked up a hill to a beautiful spot. The conditions were just right. You can see the rolling hills of the South Downs in the background.
I’ve chosen two gorgeous images from Jen and Doug’s wedding to preview on the blog. It was the first wedding to ever be held at Knighton House, and as the future of the school hangs in the balance it could also be the last. That truly is a unique wedding venue! Huge congratulations to them both. They were a super couple to work with.
August was a crazy busy month for us with seven weddings! On the 7th Danni and Toby were married in Corfe Mullen and had their wedding reception at Deans Court in Wimborne, Dorset. It was the first time Josh and I had worked at the venue. We loved it! It was such a privilege being asked to photograph their wedding, as I had previously photographed both of the brides sisters’. We’ve know the family for about four years. It does make a big difference photographing people whom you have a rapport with. Here’s a little sneak peek from their wonderful day. This one will definitely be featuring on the blog later this year.
