Some of you may have seen I went out to Vietnam this year to photograph an international wedding. About a month beforehand, Stuart and Heidi had a UK wedding at my favourite Larmer Tree Gardens in Cranborne Chase, Dorset. There were so many highlights from the day. They had Robert Pattinson’s sister singing as Heidi walked down the aisle. An incredible firework display later that night put together by the guys who worked on the fireworks for the London Olympics. The number of international guest, not counting Heidi’s friends and family who had flown over from Vietnam. Below are some of my favourite shots from the day. My style is all about telling the story of the day and being as unobtrusive as possible. Enjoy! Check back soon for part 2 – the Vietnam wedding!
Toby and Ashley celebrated their wedding two weeks ago at the Honeybrook Farm in Wimborne, Dorset. Fitting in with their country theme, we took a few photos in the near by fields. This one will also be featuring on the blog later this year, make sure you check back.
Two weeks ago I had the privilege of photographing Jo and Stafford’s wedding at The Barn at Bury Court. They were both great fun to work with, and I think this is reflected in the sneak peek I’ve chosen for the blog. Check back later in the year as this one will definitely be featuring on the blog.
Here’s three gorgeous images from Danielle and Jamie’s recent pre-wedding shoot in the New Forest, Hampshire. This one is probably my favourite from the shoot.
Choosing just one preview image from Kelly and Euan’s shoot was not easy! We shot their pre-wedding shoot in the city of Manchester and were spoilt for location choices. I love this one shot outside the old city train station. “Why Manchester?” you may be asking… Simply as this is home. They’re getting married later this year in Winchester, and thought it would be nice to have some photos together in their home city. I think I’ve mentioned before I love to travel for my photography. It certainly beat a photoshoot in Southampton City Centre!
Here’s the sneak peek from Justin and Mandy’s wedding at Winslowe House in Southampton, Hampshire. Late into the evening a beautiful rainbow appeared on the horizon. We seized the opportunity and got a series of photographs under the stripes. It was the first time I had photographed a wedding at Winslowe House. Southampton needs more venues like this! Huge congratulations to the new happy couple. I’m looking forward to showing them the full set.
It’s almost two weeks ago now since the wedding of Andy and Kate at Esseborne Manor in Andover. It was a fantastic day! The sneak peek photo I’ve chosen was taken in a near by corn field as the sun was setting in the evening.
Remember Matt and Celia’s sneak peek back in July? They were married in Yarmouth, Isle of Wight in June. I mentioned back then some of the highlights being the boat trip the bride and groom took down the River Yar from the church, the large seafront house that overlooked the beach and English Channel and the beautifully decorated marquee. Today you can finally see some of the wonderful moments as they happened. There were so many beautiful photos from this wedding, it was a job to know which ones to pick out for this feature. The day started with the brides morning preparations:
I’ve got another gorgeous wedding from the Larmer Tree Gardens to share with you today. Dan and Lara were married back in June this year. The photos below tell a story of the day as it happened. I hope you enjoy looking through them. The brides morning preparations began at Launceston Farm’s five star B&B, situated in Blandford Forum, Dorset. The groom and guests arrived in style on an old red Routemaster bus. I love this one of the girls skipping through the Laurel Walk. This is one of my favourite vantage points in the Gardens. Standing on Temple View looking across to the Roman Temple. After the speeches it was back outside on the lawn for ice-cream and cake.
Did you enjoy the two on-location shoots blogged today? Well it’s also been too long since I blogged a wedding, so I’ve got another treat install – this is the wedding of Miles and Sophie. You may remember their sneak peek from May. They were married at the Larmer Tree gardens. It was a fantastic day! Here are some of my highlights from the day. The photographs tell a story of the day as it happened, and for the first time feature the work of both Ben and Josh Goode. Let us know what you think.
