Two weeks ago I uploaded a selection of images from Stuart and Heidi’s UK wedding, at the Larmer Tree Gardens from earlier this year. A month after the UK wedding we flew out to Vietnam for a second celebration.
The first half of the trip was a three day cruise in Ha Long Bay. It’s one of the World Heritage Site’s and seven natural wonders of the world – it was breathtaking! The bay features thousands of limestone karsts and isles in various sizes and shapes.
On the last day of the cruise at sun down I took some photos of the newlyweds on the traditional looking Vietnamese ‘junk’ cruise ship.
Here are some of my highlights (I was shooting from another boat to get the first few photos):
We then left the ship, and got a small boat to one of the limestone islands with it’s own beach.
It was an incredible experience for me. I’m so grateful to them both for the opportunity to photograph such a unique and beautiful wedding celebration.
Part 3 is still to follow – Hanoi.
